HydraFacial

The HydraFacial treatment usually takes around 25 - 45 minutes (depending on treatment chosen).

SkinSpaceUK recommends a HydraFacial treatment once every four to six weeks, for optimum results.

One week before your appointment please avoid topical agents such as Retin-A, Retinols, AHA’s, Benzoyl Peroxide and Glycolic acid.
Please also avoid sun exposure or self tan for two weeks before and after and we strongly advise using SPF30+ at all times throughout your treatment. We also advise avoiding aggressive scrubs or masks.
Please arrive at your appointment with a clean face (no makeup, perfume or aftershave). We are unable to treat clients for their appointment with active cold sores or warts, wounds, sunburn, excessively sensitive skin, dermatitis or inflammatory rosacea in the area.

Please arrive with the area to be treated clean and free of make-up. Skin must be intact and free of any open wounds or acne lesions.

Before each appointment, please advise us of any medical conditions or medications that you are taking including antibiotics or steroids. Certain medications can make your skin more sensitive and increase the risk of unwanted side effects.

Seven days before and after your treatment, please discontinue using hair removal cream, fake tan, bleaching products, strong emollients, aromatherapy products and perfumes in the treatment area. 48 hours prior to treatment, please discontinue any skin irritants (Retin-A, Retinols, Glycolic and Salicylic acids).

If you have a history of cold sores, antiviral medication may be used prior to treatment and continued for one week after.

Please note that this treatment is not advisable for clients who have an allergy to nickel.

We highly recommend using sunscreen SPF30+ at all times.
You can resume your normal skin care and make-up straight after treatment.
